Bad price / performance ratio

After a long time, we played the course again on a beautiful late summer Friday afternoon, as there were hardly any start times at other clubs. No problem on this site: despite the wonderful weather, you were almost alone on the site!
However, that's pretty much the only positive thing there is to say about the place:
- The secretarial office is only open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p. m
- the catering industry has obviously been closed for years: "Drinks in the secretariat when open" (i.e. only on Sundays?)
- the weekend green fee must be paid from Friday at 12:00 p.m. and anyone who takes longer than 1:40 h to complete the 9-hole round would have to pay the surcharge on top of the 18-hole green fee
- the two ponds and the gravel pond next to track 2 have now been declared a biotope - perhaps so that no one is allowed to look for their ball there anymore?
- on some fairways the "scent" of fermenting and rotting apples wafted around you - woe to anyone who lands there with their ball!
- Some fairways (especially the 5 and 8 in the area of the former greens) are in poor condition
- the greens were a disgrace: holey and bumpy (in some other golf clubs the winter greens are better!)
- If you don't happen to have shower gel and towels in your car, you can forget about showering after the round
- and for this whole "service" you have to pay a green fee of €30 for 9 holes on Friday afternoon - no wonder the course is always so empty.

Easy

Played Oct 22 No one seen on the pitch all day.
Green fee paid at the “box”.
Winding complex with rustic greens.
You can, but you don't have to play. Worth mentioning was the quick, friendly delivery of a logo ball

Price / performance does not fit

The course is a simple, nice to play 9-hole course, which is also very well maintained. Since rather little used, you can play here just as a beginner nice and relaxed.
Unfortunately, the place is disproportionately expensive and there are no perks, coupons, 10-card or discount for playing with members.

Sleeping Beauty

By now we were in the fall of 2013 to the spring of 2014 a total of 3 times here - and that of Greater Munich. Why is that? Simply because you can enjoy here one or two relaxed 9s rounds of golf. Without rush, without tea-times, without rush. During our visits (usually on Sundays) were just 10-15 cars in the lot. The place really should be kissed awake again, it performs a kind Dornrößchendasein.

Located in Donau-Ries space is flat as a pancake, so act fairly easily. Granted, there are certainly more difficult installations, although some of it is quite "tricky" is created. Even the direct playing the first Greens is obstructed by some trees and bushes, on hole two narrows the fairway, which is initially very wide, according to a dogleg extreme, with tall trees and thick bushes on either side.

However, our personal highlight is the 9-hole (par4). Here is psychologically all together. A long drive, a few trees on the fairway and one, the Green defending, pond, which is also bordered by tall trees. A direct scanning of a flag from the fairway from already requires great self-confidence. Probably the ford serious hole on the course.

For 25 euros for the 9 and 10 euros in addition to the 18er (daily!!) The place is incredibly low, as is the very good Italian restaurant of the place. Priced just Swabian.

Those who prefer a somewhat elitist and much more expensive - The GC Donauwörth is only about 15 miles away, The GC Wittelsbach in Neuburg on the Danube about 35 km. But Sleeping Beauty 'is fun

Golf with friends

It was a great trip. First we went to Ingolstadt Village and have been saying some bargains and later played golf in a great atmosphere. The place is in spite of the hot summer in a fantastic condition. The Italian appeals court on very low prices but excellent food and thus invites you to linger.
The information through the management and the hosts are super friendly and excellent. Conclusion: all in all a nice day
