Played both the courses on two different days. Go for the best and that is the Moselcourse. The Eifelcourse is kind of a par-3 course.
Nice course with long greens and nice views on your way. Sometimes a bit difficult to find the next hole. Clear signs would help.

Last July I was a guest at the Cochem Golf Club. I played the 18 hole championship course (Mosel course) and 9 hole par 3/par 4 course (Eifel course). Upon arrival there were enough parking spaces available and you were also warmly welcomed in the office. The driving range was very spacious, you could tee off from mats or grass. I also think it's good that it's located directly behind the clubhouse, so you can start playing straight after registering. First I played the 9 hole Eifel course, the way to the tee was well signposted. You always start from the mat, which I personally think is fine for beginners. Although the holes were generously mowed, they were still of a demanding level due to the well-placed obstacles and small, fast, hilly greens.
In the second part we went to the Moselle course, where things got much tighter on the first 9 holes. With acceptable height differences (distance markings of 100m - 200m are available) and numerous obstacles, you had to keep the ball well on the track. Fairways and greens were well mown. The greens had medium speed and were very stable. It was also nice that the bunkers were in excellent condition, edges were nicely cut, level and the rakes were stowed on stands. Half of the first 9 holes went into a narrower forest area, which created a nice atmosphere.
The second 9 holes were a little less spectacular in comparison. This is due to the slightly more open fairways, but should not be underestimated. Because in many places the tall grass waits for the golfer and swallows one or two balls. On the way to the 10th tee, I noticed a small putting green at the driving range, which I could have used to putt in before my first 9-hole round, as the actual putting and pitching green is located near the first tee of the Moselle course. This is also generously designed and leaves nothing to be desired.
Conclusion: I will come back because I noticed that, in addition to the good condition of the place, there was relatively little going on. So a little insider tip.
