Characteristics
The whole course is crossed by groves and in the south limited by the raised moss. It is a very varied and demanding course because of it's location in the alpine foothills. After the game you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Appenzeller landscape from the club house.

I was playing there on their national Day, last year. It was gorgeous. The golf course is challening, and of course a good golf player knows his clubs. A stroke saver could be very heplfully. The facilities are great, the golf course is good for all players. The views are astonishing. I will come back here, definitely!

A very nice golf course. I found the first nine nicer to play. The second nine are more for long hitters and a bit more spacious and one lane is only criss-crossed with water - something that has not been played yet. Requires a lot of tactics to avoid landing in the water. Just over it doesn't work here;)
An exciting and also not that easy place. Pleasant atmosphere, very nice members. Very friendly staff.
The mountain view all around is fantastically beautiful and shows Appenzell from its most beautiful side.
Unfortunately, the greens and fairways still had a lot of frost damage at the end of April 2021. Putting was pure luck. The gastronomy is very recommendable for the 19th hole. Delicious!
