We have been to the Golfclub Am Kloster Kamp several times over the past few years and have always had great rounds of golf.
Ideal for a relaxed round. The course is idyllically designed as a parkland course, completely flat and with sufficiently wide fairways. However, it feels like there is water lurking on the sides of half of the fairways in the form of a number of large ponds, all of which are completely in play.
Add to that the huge greens with their massive waves/height differences, which means putting is a joy in any case.
Even after the round, the excitement continues. On the restaurant terrace, you can sit on the greens of holes 9 and 18. Playing into the greens offers enough entertainment to make you want to extend your stay by another drink.
We will definitely come back!

A great layout, the golf course has a pleasant "resort character". Lanes 9 and 18 end right in front of the restaurant, separated by a long lake. Many other larger water hazards also come into play on the rest of the course.
The attractively designed fairways are very challenging, often separated by hills or small trees. The golf course is very easy to play, and you definitely never get bored here.
After the round of golf you can sit in the restaurant directly on the double green 9/18 with a great view over the course. The restaurant is a must"! Great service and great dishes on the menu!

We played in the late afternoon/evening and found the course to be very playable despite the previous drought. The fairways were more green than brown and neatly mowed, the path designations ( "next tee") were clearly recognizable throughout. The fact that hole 9 (par 3) has such a high HCP is surprising, because the green is "guarded" by the water on the front and the terrace of the restaurant on the back and is therefore hardly directly playable.
The actually quite nice gastro was served by a waiter/owner whose (extremely unprofessional) inattention almost spoiled the evening. The gentleman completely lacked the “all-round view” that had to be conveyed in the first year of training. Guests are only allowed to pay at the cash register at the counter, but when the gentleman chats with one and the same guest for six (!) measured minutes and doesn't look up once, it's hard to bear.
