Harder than it looks!

Don't expect an easy round just because the course has 9 holes. You'll need to be accurate to fully enjoy this gem in the Black Forest.
We played as returning guests and found the staff friendly, helpful and able to put up with four English players who don't speak too much German!
The course was wonderfully presented and the facilities impeccable and good value.
We added a tour of the local brewery to round off the day but will be back just for the golf course.
Well worth a visit.

Leisure Golf on plateau in the Black Forest

I played the course 2 years ago more. Has changed little. The lowest temperatures this year has been good for the place. Bunkers and greens are very good. Better is the semi-rough; from there you can play. Although the Rough kept shorter and the "Bermuda Triangle" is defused to track 8, it remains a matter of luck, find the ball there. There is little congestion and waiting times. The club members are friendly to the few green fee players. Furthermore, the green fee of 40 € for 2x9 hole is very low. Guests at Graether Health Resort receive a discount at 28 €. Unfortunately the club is no discount for half the round, which would be useful when fasting.

No thanks

The condition has improved slightly; but the fairways are not as short enough we have cut partly our own balls can not be found, even though the mittle have been lying on the fairway, greens crave good but are very slow when man is accustomed to good greens to putt it is a disappointing experience, 18 holes to play lasts very long, we were more than five hours plus traveling, although we did not lose any balls, we were behind two four flights, no leaving us through games. Secretariat and clubhouse are open limited.

Home of the fairway woods

Beautiful and well-kept golf course on the plateau without large differences in height. The special challenge are the lengths of the individual holes - good if you have your fairway woods while...
Although the individual fairways act generously wide, but when you look closely you can see the left and right very greedy Rough that so wants to come out with any more balls. Therefore, precise play is required. I played a round of "Golf in between" in May 2015 - when I am again close again any time

Relaxed holiday golfing super cheap

As a wine golfer I was to Fasting in Graethers health resort, so no wine, but a lot of golf. The only 10-minute drive space can not be measured with the more remote places Freudenstadt and Castle Weitenburg but relaxed hobby playing golf on the 9 hole course has a very good appeal. The challenge on the flat terrain of the plateau is the length of some tracks.
Hole 2 is achievable for normal handicappers hardly by two strokes; Hole 8 is the dogleg and much in between Rough also not easy In addition, the fairways a bit narrow. Without straight game the ball lands in the thick rough. Never Locate your ball; You will not find him.
The condition has improved; especially the greens are impeccable.
Secretariat and clubhouse are only open limited. Club members and staff are extremely friendly to the few green fee players.
The best: € 40 for 18 holes and no waiting time!
