Played on 14.9.2017. The flat 9-hole course (each with separate discounts for the first 9 and possibly the second 9) is located near Den Helder with partial view of the dunes on the edge of the village of Julianadorp. The complex is located within the Landal resort and the railways are flanked by the villas and holiday homes, which do not disturb. In addition to a small but cozy looking clubhouse with a large sun terrace, the complex offers a further 9-hole short course, as well as a relatively short driving range where you can hit the balls into a lake. The main course (PAR 35) offers a few highlights at holes 7 to 9, where you play over water and has light doglegs. The first 6 lanes are relatively unspectacular and usually just go straight. The lanes are relatively narrow from the point of view and you should take into account the wind, otherwise the ball is fast in the off, or in one of the canals which border the place. The condition of the fairways was a bit thick (some bald spots / differently long grass). The greens were good, ondulated and fast. The lady at the club secretariat was very nice and gave us a discount voucher when we return. The green fee is currently manageable with 24 € weekdays for 9 holes reasonably manageable. We went to the round in the morning immediately after opening at 9:00 am. At first sunny weather with later light showers we were at the time probably the first and only on the square. If you want to play 9 times quickly, is certainly not wrong.
