Characteristics
The Pfullinger Hof is situated in idyllic, rural surroundings at the foot of the Heuchelberg. Its 18-hole course is framed by vineyards and farms. The fairways, lined by fields and woods, seem natural and are integrated perfectly into the softly hilly terrain. They demand quite a lot from golfers: longhitter skills, precision and strategic tee-offs. After the game you can relax in the familial clubhouse.

The place does not leave me with good memories. In principle, it could be a beautiful natural golf course if there weren't a few blemishes. These also have nothing to do with little rain.
Reductions are partly bumpy and unkempt. Almost all of the bunkers were not in a well-maintained condition. Some greens had really dark spots and the ball bounces where it wants. Make greens were also good but slow.
Overall the place would be nice if it was better maintained. The basic idea is good but clearly room for improvement.

Last year we could blame a lot on the drought, but this year the rain is definitely better. You can see that the place has already received enough water, but the overall condition is still very sad. Discounts are available, but do not correspond to normal golf conditions. Most discounts are hardly recognizable as such, not mowed or very badly and the worst, mostly crooked and humped, that you can hardly stand properly. The greens are very poor again this year, lots of brown bare patches or a shag carpet of soft cushioned grass, albeit recently mowed, not suitable for putting. Many bunkers are neglected. The fairways would also have needed a cut.
Too bad, a little more care and the round could have been an experience, because the place itself has potential. The often narrow lanes require straight shots and the greens are also architecturally challenging.
