Characteristics
The golf course "Gimborner Land" is situated on an area of 27 ha in the middle of the idyllic landscape of the region Bergisches Land. It offers a unique panoramic view. The 9-hole course meets high game-technical standards. Not to be forgotten is also the natural topography of the terrain that demands a good golfing technique, but doesn't pose particular physical requirements, considering the location.

I took out a two-month trial membership at the Gimburger Land golf course and during that time I had the pleasure of playing on the course about eight times. What impressed me from the start was the beautiful landscape of the course. It is relatively narrow, which requires a bit of precision, but the surroundings and design are simply gorgeous. The course has also always been in excellent condition - great importance has obviously been placed on its maintenance.
The friendliness of the entire team deserves special mention. From the very first moment, the club secretariat was extremely helpful and courteous. The two tournaments I played in during my membership also showed me how warm the club members are. The community there is really open and welcoming, which made it much easier for me to get started.
Overall, I had a great time at the Gimburger Land golf course. The combination of the beautiful grounds, the great condition of the course and the warm atmosphere won me over. I'm already looking forward to becoming a permanent member next year!

Very nice facility in the Bergisches Land for older golfers

My wife and I are getting on in years, have minor health problems and after 15 years at a very hilly golf club in the Bergisches Land, we can no longer play 18 holes. In order to stay fit, however, we refuse to play with a golf cart. We have therefore taken out a remote membership and are currently playing at various courses in our area with vouchers from Albrecht and Köllen-/ Golf. Yesterday we played our third round of golf at the Gimborner Land golf course. Each time, the course was in very good condition. The greens were very well maintained, the bunkers were raked and the fairways were perfectly mowed. So a very nice course for older golfers. What was also noticeable was that the club secretariat always welcomed us in a very friendly and courteous manner. I also found the offer for 2 months with full playing rights for €99 interesting.
