Staff was helpful and friendly. (Always depends on how you approach people;)) Course is long and tight.
The atempt at a links course is well interpreted.
Greens are large and in good shape.
Water, large bunkers and fairways which roll, all good.
Would play again.

The facilities that I saw during my breif visit were of a high standard and were well cared for. The view of the course looked very inviting and if i had more time I would have played a round. Everything looked really good and I will definitely spend more time there on my next visit. The Leadbetter Golfing school facilities looked very good too. Certainly worth a visit.

The driveway is a bit hacienda style, very chic.
Large top driving range with many targets.
Contrary to my expectations, course A/B was varied and rather difficult. Fairways were undulating, shaped, and easy to walk on. Surrounded by low grass. Lots of large, snow-white bunkers. At first I thought 20% of the course area consisted of that ;-) including large greens. Plus a few water areas and peninsulas. Also a few bushes and waste areas, i.e. the gravel plains of the Alpine foothills. Members raved about course C to me. Everything was very pure and well-maintained. Not parkland, not playful. You have to like that. I mostly like it, but does it always work? A bit like Bethpage, including 6 tee boxes per hole! That's probably why I have these Ryder Cup visions ;-). €150/weekend would be a hefty price. There's also a smaller 9-hole course. Be careful when booking.
P.S. For non-locals: Valley is the name of the Bavarian town next door. The course isn't yet in the "English" valley.
