Characteristics
The golf course is located amidst beautiful Münsterland parkland on gently rolling terrain with several challenging water hazards. The course is one of the oldest golf courses in the Münsterland region and boasts a unique atmosphere. Nordkirchen Castle, located nearby, is the largest moated castle in Westphalia and is often referred to as the "Westphalian Versailles." The club restaurant, "hüftgolf," boasts one of the most beautiful sun terraces in the Münsterland region, with stunning views of the golf course and the surrounding countryside.

We played the course as part of a tournament!
I really liked the course, great old trees, well laid out fairways without boredom, lots of lovely water hazards. Difficult but still fair!
The fairways and greens are in good condition, despite the heavy rain of the last few months.

Played with a member in early March 2024. I have never seen a more unkempt place. Fairways full of mown tufts of grass, bunkers full of leaves, twigs and leaves. Also wet, full of cart tracks. Virtually unplayable. It's a disgrace to charge green fees for such a bad place. Never again!

We played the course sm 08/18/2023 and experienced a great care condition. All fairways and the green were perfect! We especially liked the scattered flower meadows. The place is very nicely laid out with lots of old trees and interesting tracks.
