Characteristics
The golf course is located amidst beautiful Münsterland parkland on gently rolling terrain with several challenging water hazards. The course is one of the oldest golf courses in the Münsterland region and boasts a unique atmosphere. Nordkirchen Castle, located nearby, is the largest moated castle in Westphalia and is often referred to as the "Westphalian Versailles." The club restaurant, "hüftgolf," boasts one of the most beautiful sun terraces in the Münsterland region, with stunning views of the golf course and the surrounding countryside.

We played the course in early September 2025. We were greeted by a very pleasant and friendly receptionist and provided with everything we needed. The course is fair and enjoyable to play. The numerous bunkers should be taken into account when choosing your clubs. The fairways and greens were in top condition and very well maintained. Because the first time on this course, due to a lack of local knowledge, you'll probably end up taking a few more strokes than on your home course, we will definitely play it again.

I really liked the course, great old trees, well laid out fairways without boredom, lots of lovely water hazards. Difficult but still fair!

Played with a member in early March 2024. I have never seen a more unkempt place. Fairways full of mown tufts of grass, bunkers full of leaves, twigs and leaves. Also wet, full of cart tracks. Virtually unplayable. It's a disgrace to charge green fees for such a bad place. Never again!
