Golf with sea views and beach nearby

Played on 5/25/2023. The 9-hole course (PAR 32) with 5x PAR4 and 4x PAR3 is located a few kilometers away from the A44 (direction Kassel) in a scenic area in northern Hesse directly on the Twistestausee. From the elevated tee of hole 6 you have a beautiful view of the lake. Track 7 is played more or less along the lake, but with dense bushes in between. The course can be described as slightly hilly. Alone on the first four lanes, which are on the other side of the street, it goes up and down. However, those with normal sporting ambitions do not need a cart. There are also slight differences in height and slopes on lanes 5 to 9. The tracks are appealing and varied. Lane 2 offers a dogleg and the highlight is certainly lane 18 (PAR3) with a peninsula green. Well-placed bunkers also defend the greens. With the exception of hole 8/17, there is unfortunately only one tee option for women and men, so two rounds do not offer much variety. The course is short, but has its challenges. You should also stay away from the outskirts and the sometimes high rough or bushes. The condition of my game was impeccable. The greens very good and true. Game operations were manageable on a Thursday afternoon. You can view and book tee times via CampoGolf. The 9-hole green fee of €30 on weekdays is OK. A surcharge for golfers without an "r" in their ID card is thankfully not taken and in a way that promotes golf. There are discounts with the vouchers from the Golf Albrecht. The lady at the reception was very friendly and even walked me out the door and explained everything to me. You can park for free in the small car park right in front of the club. If there is no space, you can get a parking ticket from the secretariat, as the public parking spaces in front of the square are subject to a charge. The clubhouse is small but it is only a small public golf course. There is a restaurant with a beer garden (not used) and an adventure mini golf course. There is also a driving range and practice facilities. Balls can be drawn with euro coins. I found the facility appealing and definitely recommendable for a quick spin if you're in the area. By the way, you can walk behind the driving range to a beach on the lake before or after your round.

Beautiful 9 hole course

We were on vacation at the motorhome port Twistesee, from there, the golf course within walking distance in 25 minutes easy to reach.
