The 27 holes, planned by John Burns, are situated in Prague. The course is famous for its hilly fairways and its wooded and very long courses. The greens are very and are compared with the best greens of the world. The Public Course with 9 holes ist also open to golf enthusiasts without course maturity.

Konopiste golf is one of the most famous and used to be one of the best courses in Czech. Golf course is recently strugeling due the few competition in neigborhood. I like course very much, Radecky to me was always more challenging and more competitive. Este is it boring. I can see a bit drop down quality of maintanence. They do have great facilities there, like the spa and accomodation in new houses. Castle need reconstruction. The weak point is restaurant, no doubt they made best Svickova there, but thats it. Inside of restaurant is same for last 20 years.
Back to course be prepared for soft greens, narrow fairways on front nine of Radecky. Overall I always enjoy to come back and value for money is also average, not crazy expensive.

There were eight of us at the Golf Resort Konopiště.
Hotel:
The hotel is certainly a bit old. The rooms in the Castle are large and high, clean and typical. In the Castle Restaurant (golf restaurant) you can always eat well in the evening and the menu has a lot of variety (you shouldn't necessarily go to the Steak House, where you can have breakfast, for dinner)! Hotel value for money is unbeatable!
18 holes - d'Este Course:
A strong and beautiful woodland course that is great for golfing and scoring. Well maintained course, beautiful greens that could be a bit faster. Lots of individual forest trees of different heights flank the slightly hilly fairways. The 9th is a top golf hole with an island green near the castle. The 18th is very narrow in the second half and the green is protected by two well-kept ponds. D'Este 4 stars!
18 holes - Radecky Course:
What a beautiful golf course!
Two thirds of the first 9 holes are in the old castle park, and hole 6 is a feast for the eyes! The last 9 holes are also in the woodland style, but some of them have very long and difficult fairways. A par here usually feels like a birdie!
The finale on the 18th leads back to the castle!

The 36 golf courses and the hotel surprised us! The hotel offers individual packages of accommodation and golf…!

So starting with the arrival - reception very friendly, hotel room nice, big, clean!
Wellness area very nice and large - with outdoor pool!
Breakfast is not excessive - but what is offered is very good and plentiful - always fully refilled.
Restaurant also reasonable price/performance ratio.
The courses are in excellent condition, challenging but fair! Very interesting fairways. The greens are huge and also in excellent condition!
All in all, a golf resort that is in excellent condition and is recommended and (with more than 150 golf courses played) is one of those that we will definitely play again.
