Nicely surprised

Another weekend another golfing day. This time Barbora golf course. I haven’t play there for a while and what a nice surprise. Course is nicely greenish despite hot weather and the fact that they do not have watered fairways. But back to parking lot. Big paved parking lot. Close to clubhouse. Clubhouse has enough room and its close to all needed prastice areas. Course is more or less flat and is nicely shaped parkland course with lot of trees on front nine. 1st tee is next to clubhouse. Front nine has many nice holes and interesting shots. Fairways are wide and offer lot room for misshots. My favorite is hole number 9, unfortunatelly they do not have it ending at clubhouse. Back nine is not as much interesting, still challenging. I liked best 15 and 17. Finishing hole is not much fun, quite difficult ending next to big tree, but without nice surrounding. Very good value for your money there. Only the buggy is quite pricey. Course is kids and dogs friendly. Will definetely come back some day.

Dissapointed

The reason I went there is that I hoped it would be a cheap way to enjoy the game. This wasn´t the case! I´m sure the management think all foriegners have loads of money and can afford to be ripped off. The staff were horrible and we felt uncomfortable just being there. Never again sadly as I was hoping to have found somewhere cheap and cheerful that I could always visit.

Nice, interesting,... good place

I've played Barbora for the second time now. Place is nicely laid out, you have good prospects, course maintenance in order. Rather flat, but definitely with a few challenges.

So all good. However (I don't know why) I'm missing the last ounce of enthusiasm. It's a good course, play it if you're around. I would rather not see a long journey just because of the place...

Flat but interesting

Perfect for players with dogs. Flat course, but still interesting and challenging. Value for money was great, care was also ok, some bald spots but that didn't bother much.

Great place in flat terrain

On our tour through western Bohemia, at the end of April 2022 with a motorhome, over the most beautiful golf courses in the region, we made the first stop at the Barbora golf resort. We were allowed to spend the night with our mobile home in the parking lot after the game, but our request for an electrical connection (with our own extension cord), i.e. the use of a socket in the nearby technical building, was rejected and we were referred to the campsite on the nearby lake as an alternative ;-( . Otherwise, all the staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The pitch had a very good lawn quality for the early part of the year, but it is rather flat in terms of its layout and does not offer that many highlights..., rather a bit boring but the price is very handsome compared to much more challenging courses and there isn't even a spring offer like most other courses in the region but the game is still fun and the facility is definitely worth a visit, just like a visit to the club restaurant.

Ramp off on a moderate place

On the Internet, special tariffs are offered 3 hours before sunset.
This is not known to the arrogant staff, On note that this is published on the Internet, one comes to the decision that this does not apply on the weekend Although a lot of water is available, one sometimes has the impression in a field to play..

Class!

Following the enlargement of the square in 2013/2014 to 18 holes a really successful, beautiful and challenging course of excellently fits into the landscape. Old trees, ponds and streams have been integrated into the fairways and require precise play. The place was already the end of April in a really very good care condition with very well manicured greens.
The clubhouse in a very nice atmosphere, Czech beer always tastes and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
And finally! a price / Leistungsverhlätnis of 39, - € for the round, highly recommended.

We'll be back

Drive Saturday from Dresden to Teplice and times play a relaxing round of golf? Barbara is just the right place. Super nice staff, good prices. And then... of course! Well designed, playable for all handicap classes. We made it fun and we will definitely be back.

Great place, rude staff, rip off

Positive: Place is very well maintained, very beautiful fairways with plenty of water, ditches and beautiful design.

Negative: No daily green fee. Staff do not speak German or English. We had a total of 2 800 crowns to pay for the whole day (2x 18 hole green fee): 60 €. It's too expensive. It wanted to remove 2 x 600 crowns for an 18 hole round us even. Is just a shame that the impression created will be ripped off. This one was still rude. The parking costs extra!
Before each putting the groundskeeper pulled on his Geen circles, it was therefore always loud, he was a constant "annoying" companion. And on a Sunday.

Conclusion: golf was fun. The non-residue.
