The golf course is located only 18 km from the Czech capital, near the village of Slapy nad Vltavou, in a traditional tourist area by the Slapy reservoir, which has been very popular since the beginning of the 20th century. Its eighteen holes with modern design offer friendly wide fairways and modelled greens, as well as unrivalled views of the Slapy reservoir, the Hrdlička nature reserve and historical monuments in the village of Slapy. The front nine, named Rabyně mountain, has a unique composition of 3 par 3s, 3 par 4s and 3 par 5s. The back nine, Three Crosses, is close to an important historic site – the original geographic centre of the Czech Kingdom. The resort features a modern multifunctional clubhouse, the Sun Pavilion, providing all amenities for its visitors, pro shop, restaurant offering great cuisine, locker rooms, wellness area, sauna, whirlpool, rehabilitation services, two conference rooms, tourist information centre and Saint John Gallery.
Saint John Golf Park also includes a driving range, chipping and putting areas, and also a 6-hole pitch & putt public course.

Varied course in beautiful landscape

We played this course on June 4,2025. The course is spaciously laid out in a beautiful, hilly landscape. The holes are varied and occasionally require strategic play. Long hitters will also get their money's worth. The greens are large and have plateaus in some areas, but are still fair and manageable. Overall, the course was in very good condition.
We drove a go-kart, which we found very useful in retrospect. You can certainly walk, but the elevation gain requires some stamina, and the connections between some tracks are long.
It was a very relaxed gathering. Nothing could be heard except the chirping of birds.
The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open, so we went to a very good restaurant about a five-minute drive away—a great alternative.

The holes are partly very hilly, but not mountainous. You can go by pedes. A unicum is surely hole 9, where you can not beat the driver (not even at the tournament!). The state of care true 08/2017 very good. The area is very nice, from the square you can see the Vltava, but the nice castle in Slapy. Restaurace je velmi dobrá. Reception and management very professional.
