We played the course because of the excellent ratings and were not disappointed, even if it is certainly not the best golf course in France - the course does not come close to Pont Royal or Terre Blanche. The course design is undoubtedly sensational. Every hole is different, you will always be surprised, and almost every hole has at least one water hazard, several holes also have island greens. The greens are without exception undulating and very fast. Anyone who leaves the course without losing the ball and without a three-put has played excellent golf. The level of difficulty is very high and golfers with a high handicap will be overwhelmed here. In any case, you should take lots of balls and a ball rod with you.
Actually, the place would have earned 5 stars if the condition were not so deplorable. There were plenty of weeds and stones in the bunkers, the cart paths - with the exception of the asphalted sections - had a cross-country character, and the numerous wooden bridges have seen better days. Greens and fairways were fine, everything else made a very unkempt impression - the great golf course in itself deserved better.

Pure enthusiasm, that is what we felt today while playing golf on this wonderful course.
Even the reception in the clubhouse was very warm. Then we got a green fee reduction. (from 60 years) And then the place. 18 great, very varied holes, well-tended fairways, fast greens, lots of water. The tree population is incomparable.
Tip: take a car, as it is very spacious and also nice and hilly.
