Excellent course

I have to say I think reviewer Malcolm is talking out of his hat!!! The course is a tough test of golfing ability and a handicap earned here can be taken just about anywhere. The clubhouse, the food and all the staff are just brilliant. Everyone, including the Clube Viseu members are friendly, warm and welcoming. Whilst the club is quiet on some days, it is very busy on others. There are heavily subscribed competitions just about every week and the atmosphere is very friendly whilst competitive. I find that like most things, you get out what you put in.

The course is excellent, very challenging and has improved condition over the past year.
. I wish I could say the same of reception and bar. Since the new manager took over the place is more like a morgue, unfriendly and most unwelcoming.

Fantastic golf course.
For the third time I play here and this time the golf is great. In 2017, it was treated badly.
I recommend it!

Played the course like 10 times now, every time I go to Portugal… and still is one of my favorites, always giving us a different challenge with fantastic sightseeing’s.

I play on this golf course 3 days a week instead of once or twice a month on discounted green rate days.
It has a great and challenging layout, and in the last two years its appearance has improved.
Regarding the club, all the staff are extremely friendly and offer excellent service.
Like most things in life, you find out what you are prepared to participate in. This includes worrying about learning to speak the language of the country in which I live.
