The Rasmushof can look back on an over 30-year-old tradition. Just a 5 minutes walk into the city centre of Kitzbühel.
Golfing in Kitzbühel, amidst the attractive and impressive mountainous landscape, is an experience in itself. However, it really is a very special feeling to play your round of golf at the very place where in winter the famous Streif descent opens out into its finish arena - at the Rasmushof golf course.
It's unlikely that you'd be able to find a more beautiful place for a really good game than the Rasmushof golf course.
Without any doubt the golf course Rasmushof belongs to the most beautiful courses in Austria.

To the East the Kitzbüheler Horn rises sharply and craggily, to the North the Wilder Kaiser greets you with its majestic mountainous comb. All around are meadows, forests - pure nature in fact. This golf course will inspire you to your best performance.
The fairways und greens of the 9-hole course are ideal for golf beginners, but also pose a repeated sporting challenge to practiced players and even for professionals. The short game is the decisive criterion for achieving a good score. Since summer 2002 the Rasmushof Golf and Country Club has been a member of the ÖGV (Austrian Golf Association) and thus setting standards.
Every Wednesday there is the "Streifcup" tournament.

We have now played on the pitch twice in 2026.
Playing the game is possible, but limited.
The fairway is partially well mowed and beautiful, except for the numerous brown patches.
The greens are a hopping meadow.
We couldn't find a golf club, but we did find a hotel. The game fee had to be paid at the finish line.
Would we come back? No.
The location was significantly better 7 years ago.
All the administration was handled through the hotel.
Otherwise, the course is very, very tricky to play. You can't really call it a golf course, more like a practice course, which, however, has its advantages if you want to push your nerves to the brink of a nervous breakdown.

The par 3 course is only 1,399 m long and plays a lot longer because there are many holes to be played uphill.
The 9 holes require precise play, as the greens are relatively small and therefore difficult to play.
