Characteristics
The golf course is situated in the upper valley of the river Isar east of the community of Wallgau and borders the wild river landscape of the Isar. The fairways are embedded on three former river terraces passing into a glacial terminal moraine. The golf course is situated in a beautiful landscape, and the Isar valley, which is open towards the south, provides a view of the Karwendel mountain range nearby.

After driving past the course several times, today was a perfect opportunity. A superbly maintained, idyllically situated course. While only 9 holes, with separate tees for the first and second rounds. A very friendly welcome at reception. The same goes for the club restaurant, with good traditional food and drinks. Everything was perfect. We'd gladly return.

The place is parallel to the still natural Isar directly in front of the toll road (5 €) to the Sylvenstein reservoir. Hole 1 is therefore very affine to motorcycle noise.
There is Albrecht 2 for 1 also on weekends and no pressure from overcrowding. As the predecessor said, there are topographically very wide, easy-to-play grass ditches that have never been seen before.
The partial hitting on plateaus with a front camera and the 1st or 2nd shot on plateau greens as attached to dykes of at least 5 m height is unusual. Will that go down well with everyone who doesn't come up with the 1st shot?
In the 2.9 hole round with knowledge of the course, the good results came with a lot of fun. The farmers are making hay in the field. As a result, we were missing the structure of the fairways a bit because the optical division through the tall grass was missing. Would also have advantages with scattering. The distance markings on the floor were illogical to me.
Definitely use a GPS watch despite very good signage.
Another highlight is the "Golfhütte" with beer garden and view with Reutberger beer and many bicycle tourists. A beautiful cycle path goes through the square without any problems
