Only 10 min. by car away from Kiel’s city centre, the golfer will find here a generously designed and diversified golf course on a 145 hectares spanning estate. It offers totally 27 holes (3 18 holes combinations) and a 9-hole executive course. The wide fairways and the large greens show the design of Donald Harradine. But be cautious, nearly all greens are protected by bunkers.

Holes 1-9 and 19-27 played on July 29th, 2024. Mostly very wide, not too difficult courses. Very little difference in elevation, a few doglegs, which offer a bit of variety. Unfortunately, holes 19-27 are not so well signposted. What bothered us most were the unkempt bunkers; these have nothing in common with golf bunkers. Especially the large robotic lawnmowers (which moved a ball over 50 m). Condition of fairways: good; greens: very bumpy and slow.

27-hole course not far from Kiel, from which we played the 19-27. The predominantly straight fairways with only a few bunkers and biotopes hardly pose a challenge even for golfers with a medium handicap and are generally easy to play. However, they could be better signposted and described. The numerous refuges are striking and good.
Very friendly welcome and good restoration. Pleasant atmosphere throughout the facility. Since we are also interested in the 1-18, we will be happy to come back to enjoy another relaxing day of golf.
