Characteristics

Overlooking the magnificent Lake Saint-Cyr, Golf du Haut-Poitou offers a spectacular setting for golfers of all levels. The centerpiece is the 18-hole championship course designed by Harold J. Baker. Carved into the hillside, this Par 73 layout is renowned for its technical complexity and undulating fairways that demand strategic play. Its quality was proven by hosting the Alps Tour International Open for over a decade. The course navigates through wooded slopes and water hazards, offering breathtaking vistas at every turn. Complementing the main course are a 9-hole layout and a Pitch & Putt for refining short games. After a round, the clubhouse and "Table du Golf" restaurant invite players to relax on a panoramic terrace with stunning lake views.

Well worth a visit

Good course, you need to be able to use your long clubs. The greens were in good condition when i played, even after a night of heavy rain.
Going to play it again in the summer.
