Characteristics

Situated in the peaceful countryside of Sainte-Fauste, between Châteauroux and Issoudun, Golf des Sarrays offers a serene golfing experience. Founded in 1986, this facility evolved from a simple practice range into a full 9-hole course characterized by its wooded terrain. While the layout is flat, the abundance of trees requires strategic play and precision from golfers of all levels. The setting is notably bucolic, located at the edge of an oak forest frequently visited by local wildlife. The club features a welcoming atmosphere with a driving range, a pro shop, and a restaurant serving as a social hub.

Nice game between

The layout for a 9 hole course is interesting to play with old trees embedded tracks, often with doglegs. Since we played in the summer, the fairways were hard and dusty, the water hazards dried up and the greens taken - which is not just for this place in France during hot summers - my tip on the course with winter teas. Actually, it would have been really only 2 stars but with temperaturs over 30 degrees one should not be unjust.
