Recently I got my first round in Montecchia and the course was in a great shape. The staff was amazing and I enjoed the Michelin star restaurant and the snack bar as well.

Course is not all it is cracked up to be... Yellow course is in bad shape... greens must have had some kind of disease, white course was average at best. I paid 89Euros to walk. To top it off my wife and I had our windows smashed in the parking lot and belongings stolen from our car. By the way, we were not the only car in this lot. There were many expensive cars and these individuals had items in their car... just saying. This lot was fenced and gated... and offered some protection, this course may prey on Americans or foreigners. Do not go to this course if you are an American, you may come back less some items.
Seems like they knew I was coming and took full advantage. I will never go back to this course. This is not an isolated incident with this golf course. I hope your experience goes better if you dare to visit.

We were golfing in Montecchia this week, only played in the dirt on the fairways, had great memories of the course from previous years - no comparison. And the worst was the club and trolley washing area - everything was completely filthy, the dirt stuck to everything and you couldn't clean the clubs or trolley without getting covered in dirt yourself. We have never seen such an unkempt course, which is a shame because otherwise it would be really beautiful but forgettable at this time of year. By the way, they also seem to have run out of soap for the toilets, there was no soap either before or after the game.
