Beautiful place that requires fitness

First of all, I'd like to say that even though the course only has 9 holes, you shouldn't have any problems in terms of fitness. The layout of the course is very nice. It's a challenge the first time you play, as some holes are blind. The greens were top-notch and very fast at the beginning of June. After the rain the night before, the fairways were soft, and most shots carried. The only criticism, in my opinion, are the tee boxes, which were too close together and uneven. If you're down here, you should definitely play the course, as it's simply fun.

We played the course in early September 2022. Despite the long dry period, the fairways were fine and the greens were great. There is a lot of ups and downs and there are spectacular tees down into the valley. The course was in good condition and now also has a range and the usual distance markings from 135 m.
However, the deeper meaning of the artificial turf putting green has not opened up to us either.

I have never experienced such a bad state of fit as here in Lacanau / Le Mejanne, even in France. Unfortunately, the architecturally very beautiful place in nature, loses all the good things due to the condition. The fairways have in part large bald spots, which would still be acceptable, but since the mostly greens look like that, all in all too much of the bearable.
In addition, there is no range and only a putting green with artificial turf is available.
Most of the time, however, I was annoyed that I had just paid for the use of the stock in the run-up to "bookandgolf". When I complained to the secretariat I was then pointed out that was not the problem of the place. I beg your pardon? Really now? Customer-friendliness or service looks different to me then.
