Positive Surprise

On our golf trip to France we visited the Golf Club de Faulquemont. After the driveway led through an industrial area, we didn't expect much from the space or. from the surroundings.
We experienced the first positive surprise when we, as guests of the Hotel Chambellan (simple, functional business hotel), which is located directly on the golf course, paid a green fee of 45 euros per person for 18 holes. The course then turned out to be a real gem: great nature, hilly but easy to walk on, very varied, romantic ponds with carefully laid out paths and footbridges through the reeds, very well-tended greens! All in all, a place with a lot of variety and fun!
The rather simple clubhouse has a beautiful terrace with a view of the hilly landscape and the pond. There are lounge furniture and deck chairs on the terrace so that we could enjoy our drink with our legs stretched out. The staff is exceptionally friendly.
We would play this course again at any time.
