Green fees are usually very fair, especially in winter. Played the LePhare course in December. after an extremely heavy rainy season in France. There was room for that - because mostly dune subsoil in excellent condition. Location is ideally still in the city (10 minutes on foot to the center). If you live in the Hotel Regina or in Regina Apartments or in hotels nearby, the space is on the doorstep. Space has divided two halves by a street.
Reception is extremely friendly and helpful. A colleague's comment about the lack of parking spaces is irrelevant. The parking spaces in public spaces are sufficient and not further away from the clubhouse than clubs with their own parking spaces. Important: Don't be put off by online reservations. Just call or drive by. A flight always goes if not a tournament. Space is flat. Easy for good handicappers. For 20-36 quite challenging but not unfair. Lanes 1-9 are easier. 10 - 18 partly trickey. Trolley is enough. Overall well maintained and in top condition. Good place for the first and last day on vacation.

Going up and down flat, this applies to the first 9 holes, the second nine are (slightly) more exciting, but the greens are not (green 11 and 12 as exceptions).
Compared to the golf courses in the area (at the same time), the fairways were in bad shape. bunkers mostly just around the greens (good sand). other obstacles rather modest (a few rows of trees) the whole made a slight grubby impression. the lunch in the 19th was, however, recommended.

if you think about what to do in the near vicinity of golf (makila, chiberta, hossegors, saignosse, moliets, ...) then you can skip * le phare * without hesitation.
