Characteristics
Situated directly at the sea the course fits perfectly into the scenery. The very generously arranged course has an old stock of trees, numerous water hazards and typische Majorcan natural stone walls. The greens are of a great quality and several tee-offs allow breathtaking views on the bay of Camp de Mar. A little speciality: Andratx has the longest par 5 in Spain!

Some courses flirt with drama: this one embraces it. The sixth hole is a monster (in the best way), and the layout keeps you alert without killing your vibe. Great pace, great maintenance, killer views. Definitely bring your camera, and maybe a few extra balls.

I often come out for a golfing holiday the week after schools go back, Hotel offers and end of summer discount on the courses before high season. Of the three courses we played we all agreed that Golf Andratx was our favourite due to conditions, design, value for money, speed of play and of course the halfway house. I have never seen it in such good condition in September tbh, especially the greens.

Interesting place, but…

I played the course twice in June 2025.
Cart use is required. The pro shop is very friendly and helpful.
Everything is perfectly organized.
But:
The quite varied fairways are located in a narrow valley. In addition to the audible traffic, this valley also contains very compact residential developments (some with solar panels) that extend right up to the fairways. Some of the properties are protected by netting.
Therefore, separate liability insurance is mandatory before the start of the round.
If you like teeing off right next to and parallel to a long apartment complex, this is the place for you…
Additionally, you're usually only allowed to drive on the paths, and these are located at the top of the slope, while the fairway is usually in the dips below. So, you always need to take several clubs out of the cart, since you can only determine the exact distance when you hit the ball. You should also be practiced playing balls on slopes.
Because of this uphill/downhill running, lap times of a good five hours are more the norm.
You should stock up on golf balls…
