An interesting parkland course set on 3 parcels of land, each with its own character. The course is well maintained, and the greens were in very good condition (although I would not spend a lot of time on the practice green). Each hole has its own style and challenges although the 4th is disappointing, forcing you to play to the corner and then to the green. I also don't like the location of some of the tees as they are either adjacent to the previous green (13th) or require you to play across another fairway (10th). However, these are minor points on an otherwise enjoyable course. There is not a lot of information on yardages, so a range finder would be useful for a first visit. I would play here again. The clubhouse is unique and a drink upstairs is well worth the price. Green fees were higher than shown at Eur44 on a Thurs in May.

A beautiful parkland course from the first to the last hole. I played it today and will do it again tomorrow. I could describe every single hole, there is so much character in it. Not one that I would describe as carelessly designed.
I was particularly enthusiastic about the back 9, they are almost all along a poisonous green pond, which occasionally attracts herons and also the odd ball. At one point you see three flags in a row stuck in the well-defended greens, and you looking forward to playing them one after the other.
The front greens are characterized by partly sharp doglegs. In general, the course wants to be played strategically, not just with the driver. There is usually a tree in the way.
What is happening around the clubhouse and in front of the terrace is interesting: the 9 plays up, the 10 down again, you can also take the other fairway. The tee of the 10 leads over the fairway of the 18. The area is very open here, everything takes place in front of an audience. The whole thing is strongly reminiscent of Scottish conditions. I like this!
Worth mentioning are the sanitary facilities, which are housed in an old mill. I hope I didn't change with the ladies, unfortunately it's not marked. I wanted to take a shower and was under constant pressure while undressing because someone (actually only men!) kept coming in and leaving the Deelen door wide open. There's only one shower and I don't know what it's used for (something with a lot of sand!) but I managed to do it in the end. But the way you looked at me, I was probably the first who dared to do it. I'm proud of that!

Well maintained facility with charm

We played the course in May.
The place was in good condition.
The back nine are challenging because this is where water comes into play. Precision is required here.
The opening hours of the gastronomy should be on the homepage.
Even if you don't speak French, you can get by with a little English and "hands and feet".
A clear recommendation.
