The golf course is one of the most beautiful and traditional courses in Europe. Designed by Donald Harradine, it blends harmoniously into the hills and valleys of the landscape. A spacious, newly designed TrackMan driving range and short game area round off the golf offer.

Second stop on our annual trip to Adamstal, was Pichlarn course. I will rate golf course not the whole complex. This course is standart hotel course. It is well situated next to great hotel. Parking lot next to clubhouse. Training ammenities are more oriented to hotel guests. Driving range is not in walking distance from 1st tee and clubhouse. A bit disapointment was that you cannot buy a birdie card, because simply they do not have it, bit bad for people who does not know the course. 1st tee is next to proshop. And game starts. Front nine will bring you down to flat area, some holes itself are nothing special, they are not easy, there is lot of trees and you need to be pretty accurate with your shots. Greens were perfect, juicy, soft, average speed since course was a bit soggy from rain. Fairways were not that nice, good but nothing special, many dry spots. Very nice halfway station, where you can get som refreshment. Then will come the back nine. It is completely different one, few very interesting holes and shots. You will need to bring your A game. Without birdie card you play so many blind shots. Hole 12,13,14 are very interesting. Finishing 18th is nice par3. I can imagine to come back, but to spend time in hotel wellnes and play back 9.

Due to the current temperatures, I was kind enough to play the course early and pay the green fee after the round.
Thanks a lot for this.
Even this Sunday, the greenkeepers were on the road with an overview of the course and are doing a great job. The greens are well maintained with no pitch marks.
The course itself is hilly and lined with trees so you should play carefully.
I can only recommend the place to anyone who is nearby or on vacation. The great view completes the whole thing.

Compared to 2015, the course is much better, the landscape is wonderful anyway, and the course maintenance should also be emphasized. Despite heavy rain in the last few days, the course was pleasant to play today. Nicely manicured fairways, good greens, a little slow but okay.
Challenging fairways, especially the back nine, but no two holes are the same.
From "white" quite difficult, especially hole 8, a par 5 with 546 m.
5,710 m (white) with par 70, knowledge of the course is required!
Nice secretariat, great gastro with a beautiful terrace with a view of tee 1.
