Characteristics
The hilly terrain of the Welser heath gives the course a sportive character. A special challenge pose the eight ponds and the Wyer creek, which has to be played across twice. The many strategically placed bunkers cause an additional increase of the level of difficulty.

Golf course: Beautiful parkland course with numerous water hazards. Interesting doglegs to play every now and then. Beautiful views.
Course condition: Good despite the wet conditions. Fallen autumn leaves make things a bit tricky on some greens and fairways.
Conclusion: The first nine holes in particular are very beautiful, but the second ones can't quite keep up.
