Characteristics
The 18-hole course is embedded in a softly hillly landscape, at the edge of the Sauerland. The terrain is framed by an old stock of tress and cultivated land. Already the topography determines the sportive character of this course. Recurring sloping postions, several pools, water hazards at the sides and numerous bunkers demand a precise game. Together with the lovely panoramic views, there is definitely no time for boredom.

Great and demanding place

The two of us were there for the first time today.
Through friends we knew that an electric cart was very recommendable, which I can only confirm. Sometimes long and steep, stony paths to the next tee. The railways go well up and down and you are often in an inclined position. Diverse and exciting what to expect next.
The condition of the fairways, bunkers and greens were really great and in pristine condition.
I would play the course again at any time, but only with a cart.

Basically a beautifully located course with great views that poses some challenges for the player (especially with regard to stamina). Unfortunately, the greens were in poor condition when they were playing on May 23,2021. Proper putting was not possible here. (I hope the greenkeepers get that back) Most of the members met very friendly. It can be annoying that sometimes the lanes of flights are changed so that you suddenly have a flight in front of or behind you that you had not noticed yet.
