Characteristics
Not far from the German border, golf course architect Christopher Städler designed the 18-holes championship course. It was created from the monotonuous “moon land“ of a former brown coal mine. The slightly undulated ground of the course is suggestive of a typical atmosphere of a Scottish links - large greens, deep bunkers, wide fairways and wind.

We booked this course with the Golf-CZ card and had a thoroughly positive impression of the course, which offers a varied layout and a beautiful location. The reception was very friendly and quite pragmatic when the e-kart number we had booked, or rather the one assigned with the key, was no longer available. They were then given another one, even if the key didn't match the kart number. Everything went very smoothly. The new hotel attached to it didn't seem to have opened yet, but the course was nevertheless fully booked. It was annoying that some flights ahead of us weren't familiar with the term "fast play" or deliberately ignored it, of course without letting them play through. In other words, there were sometimes long waits. You waited in vain for a marshal. Nevertheless, the course is beautiful and well-maintained.

We played here on July 22,2025 and were completely satisfied.
A beautiful, well-maintained golf course with very friendly staff, excellent condition, and fairways you'd never dream of. There are a few ups and downs, but no one gets out of breath here. The greens were also top-notch, though not particularly fast.
The main building, as well as the 4-star Golf & Wellness Hotel on site, are brand new, and we're planning a golf week there next year. The pro shop is, to put it mildly, very small, in stark contrast to the very decent restaurant.
