Characteristics
The 18-hole course was arranged beautifully around the Castle Guttenburg; while the first 9 holes spread over the plain between Innauen and in front of the castle, the second 9 holes were arranged on softly hilly area with view on the alpine scenery. Apart from the numerous bunkers and spectacular water hazards around the greens 12 and 15, the challenge of the demanding course lies especially in the fast greens.

Nice place at a good price

I played the course a few days ago and had muted expectations given the not-so-high green fee; especially on Mondays, it's unbeatably cheap.
The course is playable, however, and was in top condition. As previous reviews have already mentioned, the front 9 and back 9 have very different characteristics, revealing different facets of the course. Don't expect a top-class course; there are other options nearby that offer that, but they command a different price. Nevertheless, it was more than solid, and the round was truly enjoyable.
Overall, a very good price/performance ratio, although the cumbersome booking website is a drawback. A PC caddie would have been much more convenient, although paying in advance makes sense, of course, given that the reception and clubhouse close at 3 p.m. I will definitely be back.

A few days ago I played again in the GC. Gutenberg Castle. Almost all tees and greens were without grass, only brown earth was there. The earth was so compressed that no tea could be brought into it.
