A magnificent course whose new greens (from 2022) are very fast and pleasantly on track. Being able to read them helps a lot with putting. Some of the varied fairways are tree-lined and it gets hilly in between. Sending a pre-caddy on lanes 16 and 17 is advisable when playing these for the first time. Lanes 5 and 9 (as well as the club terrace) offer beautiful views of the mountains of the Alps. The tees and greens were all flawless and even the fairways had retained a fairly fresh color despite the persistently dry and warm weather, but facilitated a longer roll, so that we were both able to play our handicap in Elkofen (under). We liked the place all the better. Incidentally, you can already get past the clubhouse after the 5th, but not after the 9th hole, which is outside. There is a hut with a toilet where, as I already know, there is warm and excellent halfway support during ongoing tournaments. For members of the Munich Circle, the hospitable 18-hole round costs €40. We can only recommend every golfer (m/f) to get an impression of the excellent condition of the game in Elkofen, if possible also at different times of the year. By the way, in late summer/autumn you can collect mushrooms off the course and in summer the nearby Steinsee is recommended for swimming, if you don’t just want to play golf in this beautiful area.

I played the Grafing-Elkofen golf course again today after 5 years and I am even more enthusiastic than I was then. Absolutely friendly reception, the course was in top condition even after three days of continuous rain. The new greens are absolutely world class, as in Olching and Eichenried only good!! I played this great course on 8/26/22. It doesn't just mean that the office is open from 9 a.m., but that it's actually ready for use before 9 a.m.! So I was able to pay the green fee more than on time and got tips on the tracks because I played the course for the first time.
The fairways are well maintained and the greens are very fast and absolutely great! It was a treat. But the place is a challenge! Many doglegs, well-placed bunkers and water require precise play. This place will definitely not be boring.
The people were all very nice and helpful.
The food in the clubhouse was also great.

If you care about daring blows across gorges or on island greens, narrow doglegs or wild undulating greens, you won't be happy in Elkofen. But all the other golfers even more so.
This is one of the best and lovingly maintained places I know - and that is now over 100. Generous, pot-level tee boxes, finely mowed fairways and very tidy greens make playing here a pleasure. On and around the tees a new stainless steel bench, garbage can and ball washer in the immaculate gravel bed as well as absolutely exemplary tee boxes (for men and women), on which no information is missing. You don't see that that often!
But also left and right of the fairways everything is laid out perfectly and well maintained. Modern electric pasture fences over long distances, exemplary markings of the exclusions or penalty areas. There is a post every 20 to 30 meters. It doesn't get any better!
Initially, the course leads beautifully through a forest area, later over wide fields, and then finally reevers into the forest area. Hardly any path runs parallel. And everything in dreamlike calm.
You won't find a classic halfway in Elkofen. After the 5th green you will pass the club house, but then you have to get through from 6 to 18 without the possibility of replenishing supplies or taking a break. After 10 there is a modern toilet and shelter with seating. I didn't see an automatic catering machine there.
As mentioned at the beginning, this is not an athletically challenging place. The fairways are often soccer field-wide, water rarely comes into serious play and the comparatively few bunkers are not insurmountable. You only have to tee off once (from yellow) over 100 meters over a pond / watercourse. But you have the driver for that.
For all those who want to play a relaxed round of enjoyment, I can highly recommend the course. Those who are more looking for a sporting challenge will find happiness in Maxlrain around 15 kilometers away. There is a really sporty and well-kept place - and lots of water ;-)

A very nice place. In my estimation not too demanding, because you usually have enough space. A par 4 with 437m, however, is already quite violent.
The place is pleasantly quiet in the countryside, mostly in the forest, some have a nice view of the Alps. Nice reception, driving range and practice facilities and tea 1 are all close together, so short distances (until it starts :-)).
