The 9-hole course can be played from 18 tees and is therefore even more interesting. Although there are only 14 bunkers and 4 water hazards, extremely precise play is necessary, as the large, old trees intervene in the game on practically every hole.
As a par 73 course: 5,153m red, 5,366m blue, 5,918m yellow, 6,090m white, the course is not extremely long, but definitely not short.
Good scores are quite possible on the 5 par 5 lanes of the course, but the second shot is usually very difficult and is not an easy layup. In addition, the greens are strongly defended by cleverly placed bunkers and slopes.
The greens themselves are rather small and undulating on most of the holes.
The tees should be strategically well considered and sometimes require a wood or iron from the tee.
The 9./18. Hole is a wonderful way to end the round. The tee shot is slightly downhill over a stream that crosses the front into the landing zone.
From there you can expect a stroke between 80 and 130 meters long at a 90 degree angle to the left. Here you have to play the whole distance over a pond that defends the whole green.
Once you are on the green, the steep slopes mean that you are not sure of a 2 putt.
A beautiful course that is a real challenge for players of all levels. The square in Schinznach Bad is definitely worth a visit.

Parkland course enthusiasts will get their money's worth at the Schinznach Bad Golf Club.
The golf course presents itself with a relatively simple but ultimately varied course design. Flat fairways with no or a few doglegs alternate with undulating tracks with individual inclines and with tracks with small watercourses that cross. Due to the numerous rather narrow passages in the course design, good, precise play is necessary (especially with transfer strokes).
Playing on this course offers a welcome change for all those who occasionally want to get to know another course and who prefer varied golf.
