Characteristics
The golf course is situated above Hennef, about 2 km away from the heart of the town and in the middle of a widespread meadow and forest area. It offers a magnificent view - in clear weather as far as Cologne and Leverkusen. The relatively open terrain with spacious fairways is framed by an old stock of trees. Well placed bunkers, one or two water hazards, doglegs and sloping positions make for a demanding and varied course.

Well maintained parkland course. Good mixture of slightly hilly terrain and sporty demanding tracks.
It seems to be a pure member club. No commercial orientation. Still great service. We were playing as a green fee player during the week and have paid 60 euros (August 2019). This is an absolutely fair price for this place. It was like a vacation! Hardly game operation! I can absolutely recommend this place if you are in this area. From Cologne we were there by car in 25 minutes.

Despite very friendly previous telephone call, the staff was not very friendly and poorly instructed on the matchday. In the demand for a remote membership was claimed that such a thing would not exist, but on the website this is described.

The instruction in the complex was only after the request, although I mentioned, that this is my first visit and I would be interested in a membership. That I could not buy a logo ball, I mention only incidentally.
Greenfee with 70 € on the weekend actually normal, but the greens were fresh aerifiziert, so that a putt was hardly possible, this also said both my teammates (including guests). A discount would certainly have been appropriate here.
The training facilities were well maintained and adequate, the tees in good order and nicely signposted. The fairways completely fine, sometimes wide, it comes little water into play, but beautiful trees and I think 8 doglegs, left and right. Tracks 1-9 rather flat, 10-18 hilly, but still possible with trolley. With the signposting I came as a guest well, otherwise Birdiebook available.
