Up and down

This course is 5 minute from our office, so its must for me to play.
I was nicely surprised about it, course its located close to main street and its reachable even by tram. It has all the necessary training areas and needed facilities. Its obviously a bit noisy and busy, since its municipal course and on top of it its a divided by road, so you have to watch for the cars, bikers and pedestrians. So course itself is not long but its not easy fairways are not flat the ball will always run away if you are not very accurate. Teeboxes were not in great condition, but hopefully it will improve, the best part were the greens there and that is how it should be. Putting is for dough ;) . My most favorite hole would be par 3 hole 8. Each hole is different for sure. Be prepared for a bit noisy green 9 and 2 since they are next to restaurant terrace. Weakest point here is the driving range. Overall I like it and will come back one day, be sure that greenfee will not bankrupt you since its very affordable.

Hills / Hilly. Challenging / quite difficult. Fantastic views over Prague.

Be aware, my review relates to playing this course in July 1991!
.-.
It was a great course then, although slightly raw. The views of the city were fantastic.
I'm sure it is worth trying to get a round on this amazing course just for that, plus the challenging hilly nature of it.
.-.
Many golf shots blind or partly blind due to the hill nature of the course. Big-hitting does not help.
.-.
... July 1991 - When inter-railing around Europe, we stayed in fantastic Prague.
After a heavy night out, we were a bit dozy & got on the wrong the tram early in the morning & unplanned we found ourselves next to this golf course - Golf Club Praha, at around 6.30 am.
.-.
There was a greenkeeper / club owner / or member there – he was a bit surprised to see two tired looking young west europeans early in the morning... he had some strong coffee available & gave he also gave us a couple of cookies / biscuits...
.-.
In 1991, they charged us about 50 Cz Koruna, plus CzK 10 for the rental of a bag clubs, and CzK 10 for a bag of 20 good known brand balls (used).
All-in-all CzK 70... about GBP 1.60 / US$ 2.50 / german DM 4.
.. Some of the balls had a Prague or a golf club logo on them. I gave the rest of the balls to a taxi driver…
... A pint/half liter of beer in Prague bars was appx CzK 7 to 10 (less than 20p GB) at the time... at least 5 times less than in Germany or in GB at the time.

Four and a half stars

I played the course on a Tuesday in the late afternoon and Mach could not wait to get a T-Time.

The course is very hilly and has some holes that have to be blind not show. Therefore, here the Schwerpunkz my description: I was lucky and a member offered me from the fourth hole to play with him. We walked on the six on at a pair with which we finished the round.

Playing the game with a flight who knows the place, I can only recommend, because the place was to be played better without Driver else: Although the fairways are wide enough, but by the blind playing the holes, caution is out of consideration for the health of others Players needed when you do not know where the fairway is long. - Therefore, playing along was probably offered twice. Very nice and reasonable.

Is unusual that the Dogloeg at nine a track from the car park near the clubhouse is used by the one or the other player beinder arrival and departure. Who then warps a ball, can quickly make an XJ or send BMW and MB...

The place is very nicely laid out, has more of a parkland Caharakter and I liked super good. 15-20 minutes from the center of a beautiful town square, I can only recommend.
