Mesquitos

One the most famous and oldest golf courses in Czech. When you arrive you first see the big towers and huge building. All those are national technical monuments. In past there were many restrictions like no dogs on the course and etc. those days are gone, they move forward there. Staff is very helpfull. Sure the building is old and worn out, however they cannot do any reconstruction because its not owned by club. To the course itself. It is on town property so not much changes possible as well. It is classical parkland course with nice big trees, well guarded greens. Summer is hitting course hard so do not expect great fairways, however greens and teeboxes are maintained very well. Many trees were bit shaped there compare to past so course is now more playable. Nicest hole is 12 par 5 called Forrest hole. The other 13 is still under construction. Be prepared for mesquitos, I suggest to wear long sleeves. Course is pretty flat, the price/ quality ratio is perfect. Training areas are free of charge and close to the clubhouse.

Water, forest, beaver,...

The course is located in the "Auengebiet" of the Elbe, so most tracks are quite green despite the current heat and drought. Most of the lanes are not really narrow, but tactical play is required on the course rather than length. Water every now and then, lots of trees... and there really are beavers...

Care condition is fine.

A new clubhouse is currently being built (not yet finished), three new lanes are connected to it (already finished) and the remaining lanes have also been "reorganized".

Trees, trees, trees

Interestingly, very challenging course. Much of the forest, closely. Many doglegs. Must be played very tactically, is not for the long hitters. I played it 3 times, the place has to know in order to play it well, but it is quite a challenge. Very quiet, even ride between passenger ships through the forest.
