Characteristics

Margara offers 36 championship holes on 120 acres, an elegant club house in a historical building from the nineteenth century, a restaurant that offers delicious regional dishes, as well as a swimmingpool and tennis court. Margara has hosted 22 European Challenge Tours, the Italian Ladies Open, as well as several Italian National championships.

The Margara Golf Club, is offering two courses (2 x 18 holes) designed to satisfy golfers at all levels. The Glauco Lolli Ghetti course, opened in the seventies, is designed in the US style with broad, spectacular fairways. Here you play amongst beautiful oak, willow and maple trees.

The newer La Guazzetta course is completely different and more modern style, which offers a greater tecnical difficulty. This course is hilly because it follows the contours of the mountains of Monferrato. Holes in wide-open areas alternate with more technical holes that require a higher ability, due to the presence of wide stretches of water.

Perfect courses

In Margara you can find 2 amazing 18 holes courses, a good restaurant with italian specialities, swimming pool and tennis. The accomodation in Villa is very nice, like a small luxury hotel. Very good experience

Amazing golf course and atmosphere

Situated in the middle of the beautiful Piedmont countryside, Margara Golf Club boasts two 18 holes courses enjoyable for players of every level while appreciating the region's typical panorama. The very welcoming staff coupled with the family-like atmosphere of the club made us feel at ease and very relaxed (although the few glasses of Prosecco that we had on the terrace while admiring the sunset also helped). We decided to spend a night there in the "Foresteria" in order to have dinner in one of the many good restaurants surrounding the club. We left the next day after a highly recommended golf lesson and another 18 holes.

Will definitely come back! Probably during the truffle season!
