Characteristics
Hardly any other course radiated such a rural character. High-trunk fruit orchards, an old palace creek ditch and three lakes determine the appearance. Because of the large areas of meagre meadows the fairwaysa are arranged very openly and can easily be perceived. In the south a dreamlike alpine panorama opens, in the west the Jurassic towers and in the north you view the Buchegg Mountain and Aetingen.

I played 18 holes at the Limpachtal last week (mid-June), the course is mostly in good condition, especially the greens. The big problem is the staff, in the middle of the most busy time, the greenkeepers were watering the greens and fairways without any consideration for the players. So I had to completely skip 2 holes because the keeper just completely ignored me. At the 16 hole my ball was in play and I ran towards him, the greenkeeper just looked at me strangely from about 150 meters and immediately switched on the sprinkler so that I can only play my ball if I get completely wet. It wouldn't have cost me anything to wait 1 minute to hit my ball. It's a shame because the place itself is good.

At the reception we were all greeted very polite and nice. We played briefly and made some putts. We found out that the greens were aerated / punched a few days ago. On our journey through the end of July the place was as it were by the wayside and we decided spontaneously there to play a round. The place is very nice and the grounds were in very good condition, the lady at the reception was very friendly.
