Place has 2 faces. The first 9 are more typical Schleswig-Holstein kink holes. The last 3 holes resemble a Bermuda triangle. 7 quite long, 8 short and narrow and the 9 very special. We played the course in early June 2022. Friendly reception in the secretariat. Tracks 1-9 ( "the new ones") are now over 20 years old and well grown. Slightly more open than the historical fairways 10-18 (built in 1902). The latter are timeless and demanding. Just a dream. We found the place in very good condition. Only the background noise of the nearby and busy road spoils the overall impression on some tracks. The gastronomy also great.
An absolute must play for lovers of hilly parkland golf with ancient trees and tradition.

Played on October 2nd, 2020, Hcp10.9, in dry weather.
The welcome in the secretariat was very friendly and a briefing took place without being asked. 20% green fee reduction due to Albrecht-Führer, with logo ball and a token it was then € 52.50. I did not use a birdie book because I was playing with 2 club members. Thanks to the nice company Angelika and Willi.
The practice facilities were sufficiently available and well maintained, tee mats. The tees were in good condition, fairways ok, greens relatively fast and the sand in the bunkers was good.
The first nine, in my opinion, the easier ones, 3 x par 3, but the par 5 has 560m of yellow. The signage for the railways was very good, the way after the bridge to 10 could use a sign, because I went alone and didn't pay attention to the description of the scorecard, I first turned wrong.
The second 9 holes are tough, great old trees, some narrow tees, very hilly, which you don't expect in SH. Away from 13 to 14 could do with a sign, for newbies like me.
I personally found the 12, par 3, laser showed 205 meters, due to the depression and the high green, as the most beautiful hole.
Didn't use the gastro, so only 4 stars.

Especially the old 10-18 with park-like trees should hardly be found in this way 'up here'. A MUST for the advanced and demanding golfer, because some courses have higher levels of difficulty.
Overall, one of the most beautiful facilities in S.-H., because here everything is just right: Friendly welcome, beautiful clubhouse, good restoration and service, well-kept modern sanitary facilities and a varied outstanding and well-maintained golf course in beautiful surroundings. The only drawback of the street noise of a nearby main road on the first nine trains. But this is "complaints at a high level".
