The course of the Golfclub Katharinenhof was designed on a very spacious and generous terrain between meadows and woodlands. Most parts of the course provide a far view reaching all the way over to France. The numerous hills and slopes as well as the wide but undulating fairways of the course provide a challenge even for good golfers.

Found a perfect place today

I have known and played the course for almost 40 years now. There have been many changes, I took a break from playing for many years, happily returned as a guest, always satisfied, but today I found the best Katharinenhof ever. Everything was perfect: tees in great condition, all straight, all beautifully covered in grass and perfectly mowed. The fairways were a carpet. The greens were so good and fast that I was already annoyed that I couldn't keep them under control. There wasn't a single dirty corner to be seen, under the trees, on the signs and benches, on the edge, in the furthest corners, everything was tidy, clean, well-kept and neat. Playing here is an experience and right now is the best time of year for a good round. Autumn will come, and so will the rain, but we saw last year that the Katharinenhof can handle such circumstances well. You can see that there is a great team at work here that understands its job or its voluntary work across all levels and does it very well.

Beautiful, quite challenging course with doglegs and two long tracks in stunning grounds in the Biosphere Reserve Bliesgau. Very comfortable, well maintained clubhouse. Restaurant with large terrace and good food. Staff very friendly. Overall, a successful day of golf in golden October!
