We have played the Interlaken - Unterseen golf course many times and we love to travel to Interlaken every year. An exciting parkland course with mature trees. The condition is very good. You can see how not only the greens / fairways, but also the flowers around the clubhouse and the paths with the relatively new stone bridges are cared for with commitment and love. The reception at the reception is always very friendly. The course, from yellow approx. 5,750 m and from white 6,200 m always offers new challenges. Anyone who played well up to L12 can expect the Bermuda Triangle (L13-L15). If you survive there with a bit of luck, you can look forward to the next - long - holes L16-L18. A special challenge is the L17 from the white tee - par 3 - 210 m with a lot of water in the front. Finally, tail wind makes it easier to fly over the moat after 206/170/147/131 m on L18; But be careful, there is some water on the right and the back of the green... The following playgroups can be clearly observed from the L19.

The course is flat and lies in largely untouched nature. The fairways are - despite the countless trees left and right - not particularly tight. With an average drive, the semi-rough zone can be easily overcome after the tee, but the bunkers come into play at many tee-offs. On the first nine, the water hazards are usually placed on the side, which does not bother with appropriate tactics. On the second nine, however, the (in and of itself narrow) water hazards often cross many holes quite closely in drive distance. Here it is worth having a Coursebook with you to choose the right club.
In terms of design, the first half (here are many holes) is less convincing than the second (more water, more varied design, bigger tactical challenges). Overall, the course remains classic with a strong, demanding middle section (holes 11,13,15,16), while the clubhouse falls for a leading golf course.

Flop, however, the Marshall. Has disturbed more on the course than taken care of, which cost us a part of the golf enjoyment. That was unnecessary. Buggy or trolley? Definitely trolley (or e-trolley). The place is flat and easy to do on foot. The prices are rather high, as is normal for a place of this category.
