Characteristics
The 18-hole Eastcourse spreads over an area of about 110 ha. From the golf course the golfer has wonderful panoramic views to the mountains of Rhön and Hessian Kegelspiel. The contemporary golf course offers ideal training possibilities on one of Germany's largest ranges. The 9 holes of the Westcourse spread over an overall area of about 35 ha on the same estate. From 2006 to 2012 the Eastcourse was used by the European Professionel Development Tour (EPD-Tour) for its final competiton.

A very interesting, sporty and hilly layout, which also requires a few holes to be tackled more tactically than just pulling out the driver. You always have a very nice view over the square. In some places, however, a "few years" are still missing, mainly and especially with the trees. The condition of the course is one of the best in the region, with greens that are particularly loyal and fast in comparison. Overall definitely worth a visit, especially due to the very central location.

The eastern course is slightly hilly, with wide fairways. It is playable for every handicap, with some doglegs and strategically integrated bunkers. Played on 16/03/2017 (just West Course). The slightly hilly 27-hole course is located close to the A7 near Fulda in absolute peace and nature. This review is purely about the 9-hole West Course (PAR 34), as I have only played this date. The tracks are varied and diversified. There are some doglegs and especially around the greens well placed bunkers. Also suitable for players with high HC, since most open fairways. The condition was due to the weather not quite optimal, the fairways mowed only marginally, the greens while slotted but true. Some reductions looked very worn and therefore not really good. It should even be improved. For less ambitious sportsmen a cart is also recommended for 9 holes. Especially the way from the clubhouse to the first tee and back of green 9 is already a small hike. Also between green and tee 5 6 you have to cover some distance. The clubhouse makes a modern impression. Unfortunately the Proshop / the Secretariat had already closed before 17:00 on a sunny afternoon, so I paid my green fee at a nice waiter in the restaurant. The but unfortunately did not know the price. Another golfer could help in this regard. The green fee is appropriate and a surcharge for players without "R" in the club membership card, there are golf sport-promoting manner no award.
