Poor availability and reception

I had phoned last week to ask if I could renew my free membership for the current year with them and I received an affirmative answer. So I calmly prepared my equipment anxious to make two weeks of holidays in Gressoney playing golf at least every two days. The first day I go to the reception and I am told that in reality the free membership is only for some of their customers and that I should have registered with them at least with the minimum membership fee. Obviously I refused. Honestly, I expected greater professionalism and availability towards customers, all not just some favorites. Having found that they had made a mistake, could they not have registered me as they do for their friends? This is not how they attract seasonal players and risk ruining their holiday expectations.

The 9 hole course is located in the shadow of the Montarosa. A beautiful view in good weather. We played 2018.18 holes on 11 September. And that for only € 20 per person. Granted, the grass on the fairways was a bit long, but that was mowed when we were there. There are a few challenging par 3 holes. Especially hole 8 where you play "in the blonde, to the green that is protected by a dry water hazard. In addition there are 2 par 5 holes and 3 par 4 holes. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended if you are in the area of Aosta (still an hour drive through the mountains, but a beautiful trip).
