This Course eats up balls; but great fun!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 3, 2012
Modern Clubhouse, friendly reception, good information. Take a stroke safer book along: important distances to obstacles!
Very tricky water on 14 of the 18 holes. On hole 1 a fairly large pond sits right in front of the green, invisible from the fairway. Check it out before hitting your ball. Holes 3 and 4 have an almost 90 degree dogleg to the left. The trickiest hole is of course the 10 where you must hit the green that sits on a peninsula in a larger lake. Every hole requires precision shots. Not much room for error! So take enough balls along. All in all a very good course in near to perfect condition as we played it in the Rotary World Championship 3.7.2012

Top Golf Course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 22, 2023
I played the golf course in August 2022. In my opinion it is a top golf course. It is not easy to play, but the course is not overly difficult. The quality is excellent, which is to be expected given the green fee prices. A major downside is that the driving range is about a 5 minute drive from the clubhouse so add that to the break in time. That's why 1 star is deducted.

Ball eater

After only receiving positive feedback from this course, I absolutely had to play it myself. I played it 2 times at the end of June. The state of care was okay. There is nothing wrong with it. The tracks are very special, and if you don't know the place, you run the risk of sinking a few balls. With 14 holes, water comes into play. In my opinion (HC 12), this course does not forgive any failures. Greens were fast and true to track. Would play this course again at any time. Of course, the bad thing is that you need the car to get to the driving range. Staff friendly, restaurant very good.

Nice with pitfalls
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 2, 2020
This completely flat course is located in the floodplains of the Rohne, including the fairways. A few greens are a little higher, but the holes are not that long overall. It is one of the easier courses.
Choosing the right clubs from the tee is crucial, sometimes you can really accelerate, sometimes you have to dose it hard. In many cases, even medium-length irons or small woods were enough to work out a good position for the shot to the green. This is especially important on the sharp doglegs.
It's a lovely well-maintained course. We like the first nine better - they are also the first to be built - because of the trees. The second nine are more open.
We still had to bite on the second nine, the heat bothered everyone, hardly any trees and shade at 34 degrees.
A small, nice clubhouse with good staff ensured enough liquid.
Solid three stars

Beautiful Place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 5, 2014
We played Sierre in July 2014. Despite the many previous rain was the place in good condition. The front nine with the beautiful trees have us like better than the newer 2nd nine holes.
The staff were friendly and the restaurant ok.
Something unfortunate is the position of the driving range off the golf course. The car is needed to get there.

Beautiful, very technical and tactical

Very nice course with several water plans.
The design of the course and application of precision is very technical. To score, be tactical. You often hesitate between taking risks and ensure your shots.
