Have not been there for 8 or 9 years.
Best course, best Chef of any Golf course I have ever played.
73 now play off 6 want to go again.

We played this course two years ago. It is as good a links course as I have ever played. If you are going to this part of France it must be on your list of courses to play. Fantastic views from the tees and fairways that are hidden from view - go play

Granville is a classic links course and very old. The tradition of reception expresses itself very modern with a digital board where you can read the name, tee time and the flights before and after. The place was not in good condition as the dryness of the summer was obvious. The fairways were particularly affected. Greens and bunkers were OK. There are numerous views of the sea from the square and the city of Granville in the distance. From yellow the place is very fair. But the rather brown impression of the fairways clouded the overall impression.
I think in the region I would soon prefer alternatives.

You can confidently give yourself this place: fairways completely dried up (and that after this rainy summer), poor signage - the search for the next tee turns into a lottery, greens are neglected and the area around the place is unattractive (you can only see the sea from a men's tee). The square is cut up by a busy department road and a footpath. The reception was friendly, but you don't have to drive that far.

Green pre-green top! Fairway unfortunately brown holey hard... makes iron shots partly to lottery... but still worth a trip up to date. Nice reception. GF is available via golf normandy for EUR 56.
