Characteristics
Founded in 1973, the GC has its home, since 1980, in Dippelshof. The 9 holes are very varied, not always even, but always offer magnificent views on the Burg Frankenstein and the Berg Street. The golfer is often confronted by sloping positions that demand concentration, especially when playing the greens. Besides it there are pools, water courses and a large wetland biotope, which issues difficulties in getting a good score.

I know many golf courses. I don't expect much from 9-hole courses, as they are often neglected as if they weren't a "real" course. Only this place has belied all my expectations. A slightly hilly place, but easy to master with the e-trolley. You can tell you are in the Odenwald. The tracks are challenging, peppered with many large bunkers, the greens are large and well-kept. The whole place was also well maintained. The whole thing is rounded off by a beautiful clubhouse in the countryside. The people are nice and the food is good too. Conclusion: It was a great after-work lap. I even consider this place an insider tip.

Once you've found the course and the outside driving range, you're ready to go. Very factual reception, nice clubhouse, short mowed Übungsgreen. To warm up it goes from Tee1 on a par 5 up the slope, while a 2 (Par 3) with a very sloping fairway immediately brakes again. The way to tee 7 is miserably signposted; We landed at the clubhouse of a fishing club. Interesting for the 8, the fairway is crossed twice from the Aus-border. For the only 144m distant Green can be played directly.
