And after the round we were excellently entertained in the restaurant (which was actually closed, but was in operation because of a tournament for the members) 😋. Very friendly staff, very good service, and great food, just wonderful. What more could a golfer want 👍. And don't forget the lady at reception. Very friendly, very helpful and very competent! The place is highly recommended for us.
We are currently on vacation in Pra Delle Torri (also a very nice golf course, by the way). And this trip was more than worth it for us 👍😀.

Around a villa from the 18th century and a winery, this magnificent course was built, where all kinds of animals (rabbits, ducks, geese...) live. One of the most varied I know. No hole like the other, a lot of water around the greens - also behind them! - So play tactically or take lots of balls with you. Then the view of the driveway to Villa Amata is breathtaking, the last two holes allow us golfers this view and some relaxation at the end, because there is no water.
The clubhouse found its place in the service building, wonderful old wood in the cloakroom, elegant, old Italian style. Good food (currently Thu-Sun) People everywhere friendly - we didn't find the access and came through the Greenkeeper driveway... Access from the north is easier.

We played the course on 19.4.18. In advance we were informed about the greens that had been aerated and sanded in the previous week. For this there was EUR 15.00 GF reduction which in our opinion was very fair. Otherwise, Ca 'Amata was by far the best kept course we played this week (plus Villa Condulmer, Ca' Della Nave). The modern course design with plenty of water, bunkers and doglegs also offers some shorter tracks according to the risk & reward principle, ie risk is rewarded - if the blow succeeds. The Fairs are mostly wide enough to use the driver. Due to the good course maintenance you usually have good chances to find balls off the fairway. Many cable cars offer beautiful views of the pre-Alps; the last two lanes on the eponymous villa. As usual in Italy, the kitchen is closed between 15.00 and 19.30.
