We were given a very friendly welcome at the golf club.
The golf club is beautifully landscaped with many mature trees. The fairways are, in my opinion, very fair. The course is somewhat hilly (blue/yellow), but easy to navigate with a trolley. The Golfamore card is accepted. We'll be back.

After 2006 and 2014, I have now played this unique course 20km north of Bergamo for the third time. The course has 27 holes, the guests always play the best combination of blue and yellow, the red course is usually left out.
After weeks of rain, the course is still in top condition (on a sunny autumn day with great visibility).
9-hole yellow:
Beautiful, sometimes long fairways lie to the left of the clubhouse in the slightly hilly valley. The stream often intervenes in the play. Ancient oaks and chestnuts line the fairways in the wooded area.
Yellow grade 1!
9-hole blue:
For me, the most beautiful loop. The view from the tee onto the fairways and back from the green is sensational! Holes 1,2, 3,4, 7,8 on the blue course are a feast for the eyes, and for me, hole 8 is the most beautiful hole on the course!

9-hole red:
The Red Course is the hilliest and slopes only slightly, if at all, compared to the Yellow & Blue. The steep downhill par 3 is the signature hole of the red loop.

Clubhouse:
The clubhouse is top-notch and offers excellent cuisine. The restaurant and terrace are top-notch!
Very friendly staff at check-in and in the pro shop, as well as in the restaurant (with typically moderate Italian prices)!
Conclusion:
The Golf Club Bergamo "L'Albenza" is one of the top courses in Italy, along with Villa del Este, I Roverie, Biella, GC Turin, GC Milan, Varese and Castiglion del Bosco!
Anyone who stays at Lake Garda to play golf “must make the short hop” to Bergamo (at least once). Like Biella and I Roverie, Bergamo is also located at Albrecht, Leisuare Break and Golf a More.
With the winter rate and our 2:1 discount, we played on this world-class course for €35 per person (almost embarrassing).

The course with three beautiful parkland courses is skilfully placed in the hills north of Bergamo and between the accompanying streams.
However, the maintenance and overall condition of the facility no longer corresponds to its reputation and the relatively high green fee (120 EUR on the weekend).
The drainage system - especially, but not only, on the red course, which can be plagued with mosquitoes - is in urgent need of replacement. As a result, the fairways can sometimes only be played by "improving" them. The semi-rough is laid across the entire course with a cutting height of 4 cm, which makes it easier to find the ball, but does not correspond to the design of this type of course.
The buggies are (surprisingly) new and modern, but the cart paths are in exceptionally poor condition and the number of information signs (next tee) is insufficient.
The large range is good and has enough tee-off areas.
The restaurant, beautifully located, looks run down and only serves hot food from 6:30 p.m.; before that, it's mostly just snacks.

We played these very beautiful courses on 2 days: blue/yellow and yellow/red.
The pitches are maintained first class and were therefore in excellent condition. All courses run very varied in an old, loose stand of trees. Wide fairways, clear courses and some water hazards (yellow) make the game of golf interesting. We received a very friendly welcome with our two motorhomes. We were able to park the larger vehicle safely on the work site during the day and were allowed to use the parking lot at the clubhouse to spend the night. Unfortunately, the very good restaurant was only open for lunch.
All in all one of the most beautiful places we visited.

Beautiful golf course. We played red/blue. Top discounts, excellent fairways, fast and faithful greens. We had the place to ourselves. Friendly and nice reception by the office, good and delicious food and good service on the beautiful terrace. RVs can stay overnight in a dedicated parking area. Bonus: separate changing rooms for guests. All in all a nice day of golf. We will go again and would be happy to recommend the golf club.

At the beginning of October - after two rainy days - we played the yellow / red courses. The yellow course meanders romantically along small streams and is therefore significantly wetter when it rains. The red course pulls over the hills and is therefore drier.
The layout is interesting and the tracks are varied through the hills with beautiful trees. The care is very good and the staff in the secretariat and on site are very friendly.
