Characteristics
The golf course is situated in the middle of lush vegetation of conifers and trees with big leaves, which even at midsummer provide a pleasantly cool climate. Additional 8 holes have been added to the origninal 18. A partially difficult course with well-shielded greens, densely forested courses and creeks is offered to the player. Especially noteable are the par 5-holes with lengths of sometimes over 500 m.

We were given a very friendly welcome at the golf club.
The golf club is beautifully landscaped with many mature trees. The fairways are, in my opinion, very fair. The course is somewhat hilly (blue/yellow), but easy to navigate with a trolley. The Golfamore card is accepted. We'll be back.

After 2006 and 2014, I have now played this unique course 20km north of Bergamo for the third time. The course has 27 holes, the guests always play the best combination of blue and yellow, the red course is usually left out.
After weeks of rain, the course is still in top condition (on a sunny autumn day with great visibility).
9-hole yellow:
Beautiful, sometimes long fairways lie to the left of the clubhouse in the slightly hilly valley. The stream often intervenes in the play. Ancient oaks and chestnuts line the fairways in the wooded area.
Yellow grade 1!
9-hole blue:
For me, the most beautiful loop. The view from the tee onto the fairways and back from the green is sensational! Holes 1,2, 3,4, 7,8 on the blue course are a feast for the eyes, and for me, hole 8 is the most beautiful hole on the course!

9-hole red:
The Red Course is the hilliest and slopes only slightly, if at all, compared to the Yellow & Blue. The steep downhill par 3 is the signature hole of the red loop.

Clubhouse:
The clubhouse is top-notch and offers excellent cuisine. The restaurant and terrace are top-notch!
Very friendly staff at check-in and in the pro shop, as well as in the restaurant (with typically moderate Italian prices)!
Conclusion:
The Golf Club Bergamo "L'Albenza" is one of the top courses in Italy, along with Villa del Este, I Roverie, Biella, GC Turin, GC Milan, Varese and Castiglion del Bosco!
Anyone who stays at Lake Garda to play golf “must make the short hop” to Bergamo (at least once). Like Biella and I Roverie, Bergamo is also located at Albrecht, Leisuare Break and Golf a More.
With the winter rate and our 2:1 discount, we played on this world-class course for €35 per person (almost embarrassing).
